Nivedita: Renowned Kathak Dancer, Choreographer, and Artistic Director
With over two decades of professional training, Nivedita is a highly acclaimed Kathak dancer and choreographer. She has performed and taught worldwide, including numerous workshops in Ohio, Texas, California and Massachusetts. A National Gold Medalist in Kathak, Nivedita's accomplishments include:
- Choreographing and performing at various political events and festivals
- Being featured on the front page of the Irvine Global Newspaper and other international publications for her exceptional choreography
- Attending masterclasses and workshops with renowned Kathak gurus, including Late Pandit Birju Maharaj, Guru Gangani Maharaj, Guru Saswati Sen
- Nivedita is a disciple of world renowned Kathak Exponent, Guru Vidushi Madhumita Rai
- Collaborating with acclaimed Bangladeshi Director S.A. Haque Olike as the leading lady in an international drama
- Performing at prestigious events in India and the US, including the Rhode Island Capitol Building, the Governor's Reception Hall, and various other high clearance political events in California
- Receiving a certificate of recognition and felicitation from Lieutenant Governor General of Rhode Island, Sabina Matos, by FIA New England
